Most photographic p freshs do not have electricity, the schools do not have computers, and phones are never mentioned byout the novel.  Plot  SummaryHomeless snigger is the story of Koly, ayoung Indian miss forced into a tragicomic marri mature with a terminally ill male child who, through the experiences of widowhood, discovers the truth roughly who she isand what love really means.  Koly is a thirteen-year-old girl whose parents have decided to marry her off so that the monetary burden will be lessened on their family. Kolys parents suppose  they have made a salutary arrest for their missy and they struggle to come up with the demanded parcel in time for the wedding. However, the day before the wedding, Kolys parents discover that the bridegroo ms parents lied to them most the fasten along and reanimateth of Kolys maintain to be. It is too late to do anything about it now, so Kolys parents agree to go on with the wedding.After the ceremony is over, Koly learns that her husband has tuberculosis and that his parents had him marry so that the dowry would pay for his medical examination care and a stir up to the Ganges River. Kolys in-laws hope that the wet of the magical river will heal their son.  However, the trip weakens the boy, and he dies shortly after bathing in the river.A widow now, Koly is condemned toa life of aloneness and servitude to her mother-in-law and father-in-law, her sass and sassur. Kolys sassur is a cast man, however, and he teaches Kolyto read. Koly finds solitude in the books her sassur allows her to borrow and in the fellowship she has forged withher young sister-in-law. Soon, though, her sister-in-law reaches marrying age and a husband is gear up for her.
